CALCULATING THE MEAN #3--KEY

Directions: Calculate the mean for each set of numbers below. To find the mean of a set of numbers, add all of the data together, then divide that sum by the amount of numbers in the set.

Example: Here are the numbers in the set (2, 1, 8, 10)

Add them together 2 + 1 + 8 + 10 = a total of 21

Divide by the amount of numbers in the set 21 divided by 4 gives you a mean of 5.25
