Â In order to figure out how much space is inside of a rectangular prism, you must know the length width, and height of the prism. Â Once you discover that simple information, all you need to do is calculate the area of the bottom, which is a rectangle. Â That’s simple, length times width. Â Then you multiply that area times the height of the shape. Â It’s really that simple.
